Kinda a little late to post this... But whatever. Again, HAPPY 2025, NEWGROUNDS!!!!
2024 has been... something, It wasn't all that great, tbh. (for me at least) but hey June was cool.
On this post I'll be reviewing everything that I've drawn from the past year.
To be honest, I think my art has grown throughout the year (probably).
Anyways, let's see how I've done so far in 2024.
FEB 24 - MIAMI NIGHTS:
So far my favorite one, I like how I used the reflections on Biker's knife and helmet. Still happy about this until now. The only downside, for me, is the shading I used. I could've done a more texture-like shading on the characters to make it a bit less flat. But eh, still the coolest artwork I've done nonetheless.
MAY 2 - The Ghoul (Fallout TV Show):
This is a fan artwork for the character, The Ghoul/Cooper Howard, from the Fallout TV Show.
It's supposed to look like a poster of Coop being burnt and reveals a picture of his Ghoul self in a vintage comic book style.
(I should've gone with a wanted poster style... Dammit)
I have to be honest, not my greatest work. I still think the rendering on Cooper Howard's side is just too "bland," idk what else to say about it. I'm not really good at rendering like this, so this was my first attempt to try and paint something like this. Overall it still looks pretty good, but to me it's kind of lame.
JUN 1 - Dallas From Payday:
I wanted to try out the rendering style that the Mario Strykers used on their key art. I tried to practice it on Dallas and honestly it looks pretty good. I was not expecting it to get frontpaged too when I posted it lol.
JUN 30 - I am 19:
This was posted REALLY late after my birthday (June 15). but was able to get it done before June ends lol. This art took me SOOOO DAMN LOOOONG to finish.
I wanted to try out something similar to the rendering style I did with the Dallas drawing. It turned out good, I guess.
But I'm still skeptical with the way I drew my friends, from their proportions and "yadda yadda".
The art still looked like it was missing something. But it's fine the way it is.
JUN 30 - Just a Hank Doodle:
This drawing happened because me and other guys in a Discord server did a Hank doodle chain.
Nothing to say much for this artwork. It just looks cool.
SEP 11 - HE HAS RISEN BABY GIRL! (Deadpool and Wolverine):
Hoho! now this was fun to draw, (but the background could've been something better tbh) I still love the way this turned out. The rendering, the multiple uses of halftone dots. It's so damn vibrant. Again, still loving the way this turned out. But BG could've been better.
SEP 22 - MADNESS DAY 2024!:
I love this one too, same thing I said to the rendering to the DP & WV artwork. Though I'm not so sure with the white action lines I've added. But whatever, still a great artwork. (Shoutout to Krinkels for seeing this, Thanks for the kind words.)
